The manager can then begin to gather the necessary information, options, and negotiate service agreements and rates for your treatment request and value added services such as travel planning, accommodations and insurance.

Health Travel Information

Your dedicated case manager is there to take care of your planning and itinerary needs, and can answer any questions you may have about the health travel process, the hospitals and doctors ideal to provide treatment, estimated quotation of procedure expenses, prescribed duration of stay for the procedure and recuperation and estimated expenses for value added travel and insurance services.

They will be able to provide you with information on our networked healthcare facilities, physicians and surgeons, physician licensing, credentials and accreditations in order for you to make informed decisions.

You select a health service provider from the Global Healthcare Connections Network and grant them access to your medical history for review. The health service provider will consult with you as needed to approve you for treatment. At this time, they may request additional medically pertinant information or lab work that you will need to have done so they may complete your assessment.

Please note, for more complex treatments or surgeries, or for clients with health complications, you may need to have multiple contacts with a healthcare provider before making a final decision.

Finalized Comprehensive Quote

You will be provided with a detailed outline of your procedure, treatment and recovery so you know what to expect. Our medical and dental network connections are leaders in their field, and we work closely with them to ensure that from arrival to departure, your experience is favourable and your expectations are met or exceeded.

We will provide you with a finalized comprehensive quote so there are no hidden surprises. Your detailed medical or dental package includes; the costs of treatment , identified lab work on arrival, hospital costs, medications, hotel or recovery accommodations, air & ground transportation and medical travel insurance. Agreement and Payment

Once you have agreed upon a finalized comprehensive medical or dental package and quote, the manager of your case will confirm your agreement and payment terms. Step 3: Travel for Care

Medical Travel Coordination Services - Plan your Itinerary

When you have accepted a treatment plan and a comprehensive quote, your case manager will make all of the necessary appointments at your destination and confirm your travel, transportation, hotel and treatment bookings. They will provide you with a detailed itinerary and schedule that includes:

Travel for Treatment

Upon arrival you will be picked up at the airport by your personal driver and transported to your hospital, hotel or resort of choice. As detailed in your health tourism itinerary, you will be transported to meet your treating physician or dentist for the initial consultation at the scheduled time. Undergo your procedure(s). Recuperate and relax at your hotel or resort. Tour your beautiful destination and the tourist areas and then travel home.

Release for Recovery and Travel

Depending on your treatment, once released from the hospital, you will return to your hotel where you will stay until your treating physician / surgeon approves you for travel.

Continuum of Care and Follow-up

Once you are home, your case manager will remain in touch with you and help the doctors track your progress through a period of time. They will ensure your recovery is going as expected, answer any questions and help address any after care requirements you may have. If you wish to have further contact with your treating physician, we will arrange that for you.
